POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) Act, 2013 was introduced with the view to provide a platform for effective redressal for sexual harassment at workplace. It requires companies to maintain a committee for handling sexual harassment complaints and taking appropriate actions as well as to provide sexual harassment training periodically. Guidelines to form the policy is given under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013.
